The Easton is a 1,200 sq. ft. plan, offering 2 bedroom and 2 full bathrooms, each with their own linen closet. This semi-detached home features a frosted glass walk-in pantry, and main floor laundry. Upgraded features include a roughed-in gas line for B.B.Q., with a waterline to the fridge. As standard, The Easton will be built to ENERGY STAR® specifications and Net Zero Ready, and include R10 Sub Slab insulation under the basement floor. The home features a full front porch, a combination of cement board shake and board and batten, hardwood through main living space, ceramic in bathrooms, laundry and foyer, and Capri grip set on front door. The home features windows in the garage, adding to the all-important curb appeal.

    I knew our new house was energy efficient but not that much! At the time of construction, we decided to insulate the basement floor instead of me getting a cold storage cellar. We have a very efficient furnace with an ERV unit. It wasn’t that cold in December, but even with all the kids home for 2-3 weeks over Christmas, our gas bill was just under $40! Love it.

    This current home is actually my fifth new home I’ve lived in. I wouldn’t hesitate to build again with Doug Tarry. The standards for the home – insulation, framing, kitchen, plumbing, etc – are very high compared with other builders. This allowed me to put some additional funds into some extras, such as recessed lighting and hardwood flooring.
